Archive of Our Own (AO3) is the largest fanfiction hosting site; as of writing, it currently hosts over 14 million fanworks! AO3 is the youngest fanfiction hosting site, but has found massive popularity due to its advanced tagging system and user-friendly interface. AO3 is a project of the Organization for Transformative Works, a nonprofit organization created to preserve fanworks and fan culture.
No account is needed to begin reading on AO3; it is free to sign up for an account. The project is currently still in beta. To start reading, you can browse by fandom, tag, or just type in your favorite show/character/trope in the search bar!
